CHAPTER LEADERS - IMPORTANT DATES
This page provides a summary of key dates for chapter leaders, including important deadlines, ACC in-person education events, and scheduled leadership conference calls.
Chapter Presidents and Treasurers are encouraged to participate in periodic leadership calls. All directors of the chapter board should plan to attend the Quarterly Chapter Insights Calls to stay informed and engaged.

Ongoing - Submit your Leadership Reporting Form within 10 days of board elections.
Past Due - Financial Controls and Accounting Procedures
Adopt a set of accounting procedures that incorporate strong internal controls, the foundation of which is the separation of duties. Since separation of responsibilities is often difficult with a single administrator, the chapter treasurer must be actively involved to ensure proper management of chapter funds. (See Sample Chapter Financial Controls Policy (ACC HQ 2025).

February 28 – US Chapters must submit Form 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC to the IRS (with a transmittal 1096 form), and a copy to the ACC Financial Department.
The NEC (Non-Employee Compensation) form should be used for individuals, contractors, and administrators, and the MISC form is to be used for rents and payments for attorney fees.
