As our ACC National CEO put out her message to members indicating that the organization plans to work with members and partners to establish opportunities for the in-house community to identify actions each of us can take to help make a difference, we will do the same within our Wisconsin community.
It is our shared belief that racism, division and hatred have no place within our communities. Understandably we cannot help but be frustrated, and disappointed as we continue to observe the cycle of racism and violence and subsequent displays of social unrest marring peaceful protests that have left us collectively reeling, but also proud watching people all over the nation exercise their right to peaceful protest, which underpins our democracy. We are further encouraged by the actions and remarks of leaders in our corporate and legal communities. Should you find yourself in need of anything please know that you can reach out to us at any time.

ACC-Wisconsin Annual Conference Postponed, New Date Announced
After significant consideration and evaluation, the ACC-Wisconsin Board of Directors has made the decision to postpone the 2020 Annual Conference and Meeting of Members. The uncertain impacts of COVID-19 on our members health and well-being, the organizations we represent, and our friends and families factored into making this very difficult decision.
The new date is August 25-26, 2020 and the Conference will still be held at The Osthoff Resort, Elkhart Lake, WI.
Our goal is to maintain our traditional conference structure and schedule, complete with networking and social opportunities. In addition, the safety of our Conference attendees is our top priority and we will adjust the schedule and events to adhere to health and safety guidelines. We understand that this date change may affect your ability to attend the Conference, as such, we are investigating incorporating online audio access to Conference sessions with accompanying slides.
If you have already registered for the Conference you will be notified by email of your options. Our registration site is currently closed while updates to the event are being made. We will notify all members once registration is re-opened.
Our promise to our membership is to make deliberate and thoughtful decisions during this unprecedented and challenging time. We appreciate your continued support and we will provide prompt and professional updates and information as it becomes available. You can also stay updated by visiting this website.
Be well and be safe,
Ryan C. Murphy, ACC-Wisconsin President
