It is my honor to assume the position of President of the ACC Central Ohio Chapter. We have several new Board Members and Officers this year, and collectively our Board has a lot of great ideas about how we can provide more value for our members.
We will continue to partner with leading law firms and legal service vendors to provide high-quality CLE programs, and we will continue to provide public interest offerings such as pro-bono workshops and diversity initiatives. Additionally, we are focusing our efforts this year on strengthening our networking offerings. We have been building Chapter Networks to provide members a convenient way to interact with in-house lawyers in specific practice areas. To date, our Networks include Technology, Transactions, Financial Services, and Small Law Department.>
I encourage you to get more involved at the Chapter level. We need members to volunteer for our Chapter Network Committees and Board Committees. Our Board Committees include Marketing, Sponsorship/Program, Membership, and Public Interests. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to volunteer for an existing Chapter Network or Board Committee; if you have an idea for a new Chapter Network; or if you would like to provide feedback on how we can better serve our members.
I look forward to serving as the ACC Central Ohio Chapter President and I am excited about the year ahead as we strive to invigorate our membership and build a stronger network of in-house lawyers through our professional and social events.
