Volunteer Opportunities

Chapter Leadership
ACC has chapters in different regions worldwide, relying on volunteers to serve in leadership roles. You can become a chapter leader and help organize local events, programs, and networking opportunities for ACC members in your area.
Network Leadership
ACC has numerous networks that focus on different areas of law, such as litigation, intellectual property, employment, and more. You can volunteer to join a network and contribute to its initiatives, projects, and educational content.
ACC Docket
ACC volunteers can write for the ACC Docket – the voice of the in-house community. Volunteers are encouraged to co-author with external counsel, and experts in various fields, to provide practical information for the day-to-day practice of ACC members.
Advocacy and Public Policy
ACC Volunteers can participate in advocacy efforts, such as drafting position papers, lobbying, and engaging in grassroots campaigns as part of ACC's mission to promote and protect the interests of in-house lawyers and the legal profession.

Micro-volunteering Opportunities

Short on time but still want to get involved? Why not consider micro-volunteering?

It's a way to volunteer that doesn't rely on a big commitment, and we know that this can prevent some people from being able to take part.

Some ideas could be:

  • Taking photos at chapter events (bonus if you can post it to social media with the tag #ACCFamily!);
  • Writing short articles about lessons learned from a program;
  • Hosting a roundtable discussion at your company;
  • Sharing insights by answering online discussion posts;
  • Making phone calls to welcome or check in with new members and to collect feedback from existing members;
  • Greeting and hosting new members and prospects at events; and
  • Helping out at annual meetings and conferences.

If you are interested but not sure where to start, please register your interest below, and we will put you in contact with the right opportunity!
