ACC Louisiana has hit its stride in 2024 with an excellent slate of programming underway. As they have every year since 2012, attorneys with the New Orleans and Lafayette offices of ACC Louisiana Premiere Sponsor Ogletree Deakins hosted an amazing Jazz Fest event for our lucky members this year on April 26. They kicked off the day with an informative hour of timely employment CLE on AI, religious discrimination, and workplace investigation presented by Attorneys Hal D. Ungar, Caroline E. Donze, Sara Grace Sirera, M. Rebecca Cooper, and Kristyn Lambert. Afterwards everyone enjoyed an afternoon together at the Fairgrounds!
In May, Ed Harold, TIm Scott, and Amanda Wingfield of ACC Louisiana Premiere Sponsor Fisher Phillips hosted ACC members at Ruth's Chris in Metairie for a robust presentation on 30(b)(6) depositions, as well as tips and traps when dealing with remote employment. Marion Weinstock and Phil Antis with Gordon Arata Montgomery Barnett provided members with an interesting hour on top considerations for purchases and sales of assets, businesses, and divisions at the exquisite Calcasieu private dining venue in the Warehouse District of New Orleans in June. Jones Walker attorneys Sid Lewis and Jennifer Kogos made an hour of extensive employment law updates look effortless in July. ACC members enjoyed the beautiful Ralph's on the Park for this CLE.
Our chapter's annual sponsorship program includes opportunities each year for premier, gold, and silver-level sponsors who make our networking and educational programs possible.
