Advocacy/Governance Committee
The Advocacy/Governance Committee develops ACC Southern California's positions on legislation and other initiatives relevant to in-house attorneys, and prepares/updates the chapter's policies.

[NEW] California Summit
California Summit is a NEW, all-day CLE event involving all of the California Chapters, namely San Diego, Southern California, Bay Area, and Sacramento. We plan on having the "Summit" at a fabulous SoCal resort, as an all-day, multi-track CLE event on a Friday, and a family fun weekend Saturday to Sunday. This will be the first time all the California chapters will be partnering together to plan an event. Be on the lookout for additional details about this event.

Charity Golf Classic Committee
The Charity Golf Classic Committee is responsible for the Annual Golf Classic Tournament each Fall. The day-long event begins with a barbeque lunch and putting contest (with prizes) and culminates with a dinner and awards ceremony during which ACC Southern California presents a cash gift to Public Law Center in addition to tournament awards. There is also a golf clinic for those who would like to learn the game or brush up on their skills.

The CLE Connections Committee (formerly the CLE and Networking and CLE Express combined committee)hosts educational presentations and networking receptions at popular and unique venues in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

The CLO Suite Committee organizes and hosts quarterly events where CLO and General Counsel members can meet and informally discuss issues confronting LA and OC Chief Legal Officers.

The Diversity Committee develops equal opportunity initiatives and programs, such as the ACC SoCal Fairness & Equal Opportunity Award, ACColades, INside Leadership & Resilience, Street Law, the Bar Exam Scholarship Program, and the Annual Culture & Belonging Reception.

DoubleHeader® Committee
The DoubleHeader® Committee produces quarterly programs combining three hours of MCLE with a sporting event or other entertainment.

The Gala Dinner Committee is responsible for organizing and planning the annual Gala Dinner and Charity Silent Auction.

In-house Counsel Conference Committee
The In-house Counsel Conference Committee produces three full-day programs: a multi-venue In-house Counsel Conference in January of each year; a Sports & Entertainment Conference in partnership with the ACC Global Sports and Entertainment Committee each Summer; and a New-to-In-house Counsel Conference in the Fall of each year.

ACCess Internship Committee
The mission of the ACCess Internship Committee is to provide law students in Orange and Los Angeles Counties that may lack access to and/or knowledge of in-house legal practice, exposure to such practice. Programming will include law student outreach, mentorship and coaching as well as providing law students the opportunity to intern with ACC SoCal member corporate legal departments.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is responsible for expanding ACC's outreach within the Southern California in-house community as well as retaining and engaging members who have either lapsed or are at the periphery of the chapter's membership base. The Committee accomplishes this by hosting several events open to friends, colleagues, and interested in-house counsel at Los Angeles or Orange County locations where guests are able to learn more about ACC's resources, information, and the free tools available to them as part of their membership, while also meeting chapter members for meaningful networking opportunities.

Pro Bono Committee
The Pro Bono Committee promotes pro bono and community activism to ACC Southern California members through dedicated programs designed to maximize impact and contributions to our local community. Programs include citizenship clinics, Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) clinics, nonprofit clinics, small business clinics, guardianship clinics, mentorship programs etc.
