Community Service Committee
The Community Service Committee oversees the Chapter’s wide range of community service activities, both virtual and in-person, that don’t involve legal services. The group meets monthly and supports a variety of community service endeavors based on the interests of our members and needs within the community. Just a few of the recent activities include participation in the annual Lawyers Have Heart Run & Walk, judging Virginia Law-Related Education Institute’s High School Mock Trial Program, a virtual meditation fundraiser for NAMI, food packing for Manna Food Center, participating and fundraising for Capital Area Food Bank, and support of the high school Street Law program.
