President's Message for 2026
Happy New Year ACC Georgia chapter! I want to begin this year with gratitude by extending my deepest thanks to Kathryn Hutton and Anne Kamosso for their remarkable leadership of the ACC Georgia Chapter. Their dedication, guidance, and ongoing support have shaped the community we are today. Under the leadership of Anne and the tremendous Board of Directors, we are an ACC Gold Chapter of Distinction! The 2024-2025 Board invested their time, wisdom, and friendship into this organization—leaving a foundation worthy of both gratitude and stewardship.
As I begin my term as Chapter President, I find myself returning to one simple idea: association is a choice.
Legal professionals know better than most that time is our most limited resource. Yet, year after year, hundreds of us choose to associate with one another through ACC Georgia. We choose to learn together, share openly, mentor generously, and grow professionally. We choose community over isolation. We choose collaboration over competition. And in doing so, we strengthen not just ourselves but the legal profession as a whole.
This year, my focus is on how we associate:

How we build belonging for every member.

How we continue to create programs that deliver real value to in-house counsel.

How we honor the wisdom of those who built this Chapter into what it is today.

How we prepare the next generation of leaders to carry us forward.
To guide this, I’m drawing inspiration from the principles of Epicureanism, which teaches that the good life is shaped by friendship, shared purpose, and steady, thoughtful progress toward what is meaningful. While often misunderstood, Epicureanism is fundamentally about cultivating communities of trust—places where people can learn from one another, support one another, and find joy in the strength of connection.
That is what ACC Georgia has always been at its best: A community of colleagues who become collaborators, and collaborators who often become friends.
This year, I’ll be spending time with past leaders and members of our Chapter—listening, learning, and collecting the insights that have guided us to excellence. Their experiences will help ensure that the foundation we’ve built remains strong and that we move into the future with the same surefootedness that has defined our success.
My commitment to you is simple: To protect the values that brought us here, and to create opportunities that carry us forward.
Thank you for choosing to associate with this community. Thank you for choosing each other. And thank you for allowing me the privilege of leading this extraordinary Chapter into the year ahead.
