Ensure recognition goes where it’s deserved!

The success of the ACC Australia Mentoring Program and those who participate relies on excellence in our mentors’ skills, coupled with drive and commitment from our mentees.

At ACC Australia, we believe in recognising the contribution and commitment of our members. Therefore, each year three Mentoring Program Awards will be given: Mentor of the Year; Mentee of the Year; and an Outstanding Contribution award.

Nomination timeline
The nominations period for the 2018 Mentoring Program Awards will open mid 2018.

Judging process
The award for Outstanding Contribution will be nominated and voted by members of the ACC Australia head office team. Whereas, the Mentor and Mentee of the Year awards will be based on nominations from program participants, and assessed/voted by the Mentoring Advisory Committee (made up of committee members from all divisions of ACC Australia).

Eligibility: Mentor of the Year and Mentee of the Year will be awarded to participants in the previous year’s Mentoring Program. The participant must be a current financial ACC Australia member at the time of nomination.

If you believe your mentoring program partner from the previous year’s program is worthy of recognition, we encourage you to nominate him/her.

The Award for Outstanding Contribution

The Outstanding Contribution Award recognises individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the ACC Australia Mentoring Program.

Criteria: The award acknowledges a remarkable contribution to the success, growth or quality of the Mentoring Program. Service to the program could include being a mentor with a long running record of mentoring service to the program or having mentored multiple people at the same time; using influence to gain program funding; significant and consistent commitment at a committee level; and/or promotion of the program and influencing of others to join the program.

Eligibility: Outstanding Contribution will be awarded to a current financial ACC Australia member at the time of the National Conference.

Although this award is decided at head office level, if there is someone you believe deserves a nomination, please email ausevents@accglobal.com or call Karina Butera on 0413 041458 with your suggestion.
