The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is the world's largest organization serving the professional and business interests of attorneys who practice in the legal departments of corporations, associations, nonprofits and other private-sector organizations around the globe.

Join ACC

Many chapter members impact our community by working on an ACC Washington group or committee.

It might be a great professional fit for you as well.

  • Diversity Committee

The Diversity Committee focuses on promoting and celebrating diversity by awarding scholarships, sponsoring local minority bar association and civil legal service events, and by participating in and supporting diversity efforts in other legal communities and schools.

If you have ideas about the role of the Diversity Committee or you would like to get involved, please contact Cathi Hunt at cathi.hunt@asp.com for more information.

  • Law School Committee

The Law School Relations Committee will work with the three law schools located in Washington State to promote activities that benefit both ACC members and law students.  We will work to help support law student internships within ACC member companies (including both support for the companies offering interns, and the participating students), and partner with the law schools regarding events like CLEs and competitions.

This is a new committee, so we are actively seeking new members, particularly those who have existing relationships with any of the three law schools. If you would like to get involved with the Law School Relations Committee, please contact Kevin Fay at kfay@vmware.com.

  • Membership Committee

The Membership Committee focuses on providing engaging opportunities for our members to connect with their peers and ensure members know the benefits that their membership to ACC provides.  In addition, we seek to expand the Washington Chapter of ACC by encouraging non-members to join and educating the community about ACC.

If you would like to get involved with the Membership Committee, please contact Angela Galloway (Angela.Galloway@nordstrom.com) or Jon Vaught (jonathan.vaught@smartsheet.com).

  • Pro Bono

The ACC Washington Chapter supports pro bono and community activism for its members through dedicated programs designed to maximize impact and contributions to our local legal non-profit organizations.

If you would like to get involved with the Pro Bono Committee, please contact Elida Moran at Elida.Moran@T-Mobile.com

  • Programs Committee

The Program Committee manages the chapter sponsorship events and implements the Chapter's educational efforts. If you would like to get involved with the Programs Committee, please contact Renee Grant Bluechel (Renee.l.grantbluechel@boeing.com) or Derek Goodman (Derek.Goodman@expeditors.com).

  • Sponsor Relations Committee

The sponsor relations committee coordinates the chapter's annual sponsorship program. Sponsors are selected based on availability of sponsorships and board approval.
