Xavier Hunter

Xavier Hunter, Head of Real Estate Asia, Hong Kong SAR

Xavier has been advising on real estate transactions for nearly 30 years. He recently relocated to our Hong Kong office to support clients in the Asia real estate market and to assist Asia clients with real estate investment into Europe.

Xavier has acted in some of the most complex real estate transactions around the globe. His experience covers every aspect of both international and local real estate transactions, including advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial, industrial and retail property, secured finance and leasing. He has particular expertise in development work, real estate joint ventures and investment M&A transactions.

Richard Gu

Richard Gu, Partner, Shanghai

Richard has close to 20 years of experience in China-related cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions in a wide range of sectors, including real estate, automotive, consumer, healthcare and mining.

Richard also regularly advises on matters involving cyber security and data privacy compliance.

Melanie Schroeder

Melanie Schroeder, Senior Professional Support Lawyer, Hong Kong SAR

Melanie is a senior professional support lawyer for the banking and project finance group based in the Hong Kong office of Linklaters. She specialises in banking and project finance law and practice with a focus on drafting precedents, know-how and training on banking and project finance sectors. She has over 20 years legal experience in Asia, London and New Zealand.
