With responsibility for leading Westpac’s legal function globally, Rebecca Lim has held the role of Group General Counsel and Enterprise Executive at Westpac Bank since 2011.
There, she has led the growth of the legal function from 140 to 240 lawyers and driven a range of major initiatives in the legal function on behalf of the organisation. Having recently announced her intention to step down from that role, she will remain at Westpac in a part-time advisory capacity. Rebecca spoke to the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), about the evolution of legal functions, and her own views of leading a diverse and dynamic team.
