Do you need energetic young talent to help out on those research tasks or innovation projects? We may have the perfect solution for you!

It’s the last week for legal teams in Melbourne and Sydney to register to host an in-house law student clerk in 2020. The program’s structure has been built to allow for extreme flexibility; legal teams can choose the exact dates of the clerkship and whether its part time or full time. Whilst we suggest the clerkship could run over the July semester break as a full time clerkship, it’s totally up to you!

We do everything for you, from reviewing the applications, shortlisting candidates and training your clerk on the fundamentals of being an in-house lawyer. When they walk through your office doors they will be job-ready and ready to add value as soon as they begin their clerkship.

Applications close this coming Sunday, 1st March so click through to take a closer look at the program today!

"Prior to undertaking my clerkship with VMware, I had a misconceived idea about the nature of the role as in-house counsel. Entering into private practice was at the forefront of my mind from the outset! Thanks to the fantastic collaboration of the ACC Australia and The Learned Crew, I was provided the rare opportunity to set foot in the shoes of highly reputable figures in the legal fraternity and learn skills that textbooks nor seminars could replicate. I have adapted the polished skills and frame-of-mind of a commercial ‘GP’ (and the team) taught me how to use discretion in a multitude of contexts, how to ask the right questions in the right way as well as how to exercise integrity and respect as part of our broader legal responsibility, especially when managing people."
