Explore ACC's selection of global, regional, and country-focused resources to help in-house counsel navigate legal, business and career issues arising from the COVID-19 (coronavirus / 2019-nCov) crisis.

New Hampshire has joined 18 other states and many prominent countries in adopting comprehensive privacy laws, creating a de facto global network of privacy requirements.  Because of that expansion, and because privacy requirements apply extra-territorially to companies that engage in business with residents of those jurisdictions, companies that operate either domestically or internationally need to adopt a comprehensive strategy to comply with all existing and emerging privacy requirements.

Please join ACC Northeast & McLane Middleton on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. for this important webinar.  Cameron Shilling, Chair of McLane Middleton's Cybersecurity and Privacy Group, will be joined by ACC Northeast Board Member, Sharon Kamowitz of Sharon Kamowitz Privacy & Compliance Consulting, to explain the rights afforded to individuals and obligations imposed on businesses by these requirements, and offer a practical and achievable strategy for your company to implement to comply with these requirements now and in the future.

In law school, we’re taught how to use our brains to handle whatever legal issues we might encounter but we are not taught how to employ technology as we navigate those legal issues. In this CLE, we will bridge this gap by exploring six real-world organizational pain points and dcan notate how tailored technology and innovative workflows can enhance your legal practice. Attendees will learn how automating repetitive tasks, streamlining processes, and reducing risks can not only enhance efficiency but also allow you as legal professionals to focus on more complex legal matters.
