Your Health and Safety is Our Top Priority!

As we continue to plan for upcoming ACC in-person meetings, our top priority remains the health and safety of our attendees and their guests, speakers, staff, and sponsors.

Proof of vaccination will be required to attend the 2022 Annual Meeting; we have contracted with ShareMy.Health which allows attendees to easily comply with this requirement. All registered attendees will receive an email from ShareMy.Health with a link so that you can create an account and upload your vaccine information.

Once verified, you will receive an email confirming your vaccine verification which you will be asked to show when you pick up your name badge once onsite. You will not be able to receive your badge without showing your vaccine verification email.

Anyone unvaccinated, or unable to provide proof of vaccination, is invited to participate virtually.

We are carefully monitoring the status of changes to federal and local guidance. We will be sure to keep the ACC community informed as new information becomes available. Visit our Duty of Care page to see full details regarding the protocols we will follow to ensure you and the entire ACC community remain safe at our events.

    Look Who's Talking

Don’t just take our word for it! Hear from your peers why they keep coming back to the ACC Annual Meeting.

“This is the best event of the year for in-house counsel.”

Afsaneh Ambrose, Vice President, Corporate Counsel, Acumen Solutions, a Salesforce Company

"The Annual Meeting is an absolute highlight of my calendar, and I always enjoy seeing the friendly faces of my colleagues and incredible lineup of speakers each year too."

Jessie Porteus, Head of Legal, Temple & Webster

“I come every year. It is the best conference in the year. This is where I learn the most.”

Alan Tse, Global Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary, Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.

"My favorite things about the Annual Meeting were a sense of energy and discovery and the ability to connect with experts and fellow in-house counsel across ACC networks and chapters."

Victoria Gage-Bernheimer, Data Privacy Counsel, Accenture LLP

"A key benefit of the Annual Meeting was meeting members from around the globe, and then taking back ideas for my own chapter. We are always looking for fresh, innovative programming ideas for our membership, and having the opportunity to gather ideas from different chapters around the world is a priceless opportunity."

Kim Theriot-Smith, Contracts Administrator/Corporate Counsel, Conrad Shipyard, LLC

"I really enjoyed learning about a variety of highly relevant topics all in one place at the ACC Annual Meeting. This is an excellent event overall – offering top-notch sessions and extensive networking opportunities that truly provide value!"

Diana Palmer, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, Nobious Business Automation

"The primary benefit I see in attending the ACC Annual Meeting is making new professional connections and reconnecting with existing ones, both within your practice area/business and far beyond. Accumulating CLE credits from such a wide offering of panels is a close second, and perhaps one of the most important justifications in presenting the budgeting case for attending the ACC AM!"

Clara Ohr, Vice President - Legal, Green Plains Inc.

"I really enjoyed the conference.  The speakers all provided interesting perspectives and thoughtful ways to present new and novel information as well as keeping things like legal ethics (which can seem dry in CLE sometimes!), engaging and fun. While there was plenty offered that was tailored to my specific practice area, the thing I enjoyed the most was the opportunity to participate in sessions outside my current practice to stay up to date on related industry trends."

Emily Little, Director and Counsel, Legal Department, Alliance Data

    Hotel & Travel

The 2022 ACC Annual Meeting will be held at Resorts World Las Vegas, a luxury property that offers fabulous amenities.

This is the first property, in 35 years, to be built directly on the famous Las Vegas strip.

ACC is holding a block of rooms for attendees of the 2022 Annual Meeting at the Hilton and Conrad hotels – both hotels are located on the Resorts World property (3000 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109).

The conference center is located directly between the hotels - there is no one “conference” hotel.

The ACC room block expires Thursday, September 29, 2022, 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

    IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Both the Conrad and Hilton hotels at Resorts World have very limited availability Friday, October 21st and Saturday, October 22nd. We recommend that you make your reservation at Resorts World for days that are available during the span of the meeting. If you find that you are unable to book rooms during your travel dates, we recommend that you try one of the following links to accommodate your stay in Las Vegas:

Visit Las Vegas Hotel Site: the city has put together a list of hotels

  • FAQs

Thank you for your interest in the 2022 Annual Meeting!

    • Please see here for the ACC Code of Conduct for Events.
    • Our Duty of Care page details the health & safety protocols ACC staff will follow, and that all attendees are expected to follow, at the meeting.
    • Please see below for answers to other frequently asked questions.
    • For general speaker guidelines, please see here.
    • Some of the below steps ask you to refer to your Registration Statement. Don't have your Registration Statement? Request to have it re-sent

We are continuing to expand our FAQs. If you have a question not answered below, please email us.

    CLE/CPD & Certification Credit

How do I calculate my credits?

    • Review the sessions you plan to attend, and compare them to the sessions approved on the chart (link coming soon). If your jurisdiction approved the session, you will earn credit once you attend the course. If the jurisdiction did not approve the session, you may still attend the course; however, your jurisdiction will not award you CLE/CPD credit for attending.
    • Pending session approval, in 60-minute states, every 60 minutes of instruction equals 1.0 credit. In 50-minute states, every 60 minutes of instruction equals 1.2 credits.

What do the numbers on the CLE/CPD charts mean?

The total credits listed reflect the maximum number of credits an attendee can earn at the 2022 ACC Annual Meeting, including the maximum ethics/specialty credits.

If you registered for the ALL ACCESS Experience, please see this CLE/CPD chart.

If you registered for the VIRTUAL Experience, please see this CLE/CPD chart.

What is the CLE/CPD Service Center?

The CLE/CPD Service Center is where you can confirm your contact details, jurisdiction(s), and sessions that you attended live (at the session's air date and time). At the end of that process, you will be able to download your Certificate(s) of Attendance.

For some jurisdictions, ACC will report your confirmed credits to your state bar for you. For others, you will need to self-report your credits using that Certificate of Attendance.

If you registered for the ALL ACCESS Experience, please see this chart for what your jurisdiction requires.

If you registered for the VIRTUAL Experience, please see this chart for more information.

Didn't get the email with your CLE/CPD Service Center link?

    Please email education@acc.com.

Do I need to send my confirmed credits to my state bar?

For some jurisdictions, ACC will report your confirmed credits to your state bar for you. For others, you will need to self-report your credits.

If you registered for the ALL ACCESS Experience, please see this chart for what your jurisdiction requires.

After the meeting, will I be able to get CLE/CPD credits for the sessions I watch on demand?

It depends on your jurisdiction(s). Jurisdictions often require separate filing and reporting for online sessions. We will facilitate this the best we can.

Previously recorded sessions from the conference (on-demand content) will be available for attendee viewing after the conference. While not pre-approved, the on-demand content may be eligible for CLE/CPD credit under your jurisdiction’s self-study guidelines. ******Please consult your jurisdiction’s specific rules before submitting for credit for any of on-demand recordings you view.******

The meeting is done. How do I get my CLE/CPD credits (Certificate of Attendance)?

About 1-2 weeks following the end of the meeting (after the final session has aired), we will email all attendees with information about accessing their personal CLE/CPD Service Center, where they will be able to:

    • confirm their contact details,
    • confirm their jurisdiction(s),
    • confirm the sessions they attended, and then
    • download their Certificate of Attendance.

    I didn't receive that email about CLE/CPD.

We ask attendees to first check their spam/junk mail folders. The email sender will be ACC Education. If you still can't find the email, please contact us and we will re-send you that information.

Questions about specific jurisdictions/states, or specific sessions?

    Please email cle-cpd@acc.com.

    CLE and Virginia-barred attorneys

    VA Credit Timing

As you may know, the Virginia State Bar (VSB) has become increasingly strict when granting Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) credit for programs, especially ethics credit. Regrettably, due to the VSB’s filing review timelines, it will be impossible for ACC to guarantee in advance exactly which 2022 Annual Meeting (AM22) sessions will be granted general and ethics credit by Virginia.

    ACC Guidance

To help guide your program selection process, prior to the 2022 Annual Meeting we will send all Virginia attorneys registered for the conference a list of sessions that we anticipate will be granted Virginia credit. We cannot guarantee their approval, but we will suggest a curriculum using our best judgment having reviewed the quality of the course materials submitted by AM22 speakers.

Alternatively, given this uncertainty we also strongly encourage you to consider rolling over your 2022 Annual Meeting credits to your 2023 MCLE compliance year. We would not want you to inadvertently run afoul of your deadlines, since there is a chance that Virginia may not respond to our filing with the anticipated approvals until after the December 15th reporting deadline.

    VA CLE Reminders

As you map out your AM22 schedule, we offer a couple of reminders:

    • The VSB denies credit for sessions on the topics of Law Department Management, Business/Management, Leadership, Legal Operations, and other non-traditional legal topics.
    • Ethics credit is only granted for courses that objectively and specifically address "topics embraced in recognized formulations of rules of professional conduct or codes of professional responsibility applicable to attorneys." Ethics in government, business, and other professions do not qualify for this specialty credit.

For more general information about Virginia MCLE requirements and deadlines, please visit the VSB website: https://www.vsb.org/site/members/mcle-courses

We realize that this is a significant inconvenience, but we assure you that we are committed to doing all we can to mitigate this challenge for Virginia attorneys who attend the ACC Annual Meeting each October. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Don't have your Registration Statement? Request to have it re-sent

    What is the suggested attire?

While onsite, we encourage you to dress casually. Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. We want to encourage an informal environment, in which your attention is centered on your education. Please note: Hotel meeting rooms are often a bit cool, so dress accordingly.

Can I reserve my hotel room before registering for the Annual Meeting?

No. You must register for the Annual Meeting before making your hotel reservation. Once you are registered, you will receive a link through which you can reserve your hotel room.

I cancelled my Annual Meeting registration with ACC. Will ACC also cancel my hotel reservation?

No. Cancelling your Annual Meeting registration will not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Please contact your hotel directly to cancel your reservation. Your hotel reservation cancellation is subject to the hotel’s cancellation policy.

    I have a question about rates/registration deadlines/group discounts/substitutions/guests.

Please visit our Rates page for answers to your questions.

Please check back often as we will be continually updating this page. However, if you have a question NOT answered here, please contact us. We aim to respond within two business days.
