As we sit behind computer screens at our kitchen tables and in our home offices, debates about the future of offices are a leading lockdown sport. Surveys show roughly a third of us can't wait to get back in the office, a third of us never want to see an office again, and the rest of us are up to our elbows in banana bread. In this webinar, Eversheds Sutherland Real Estate Partners Marc Benjamin (Chicago), Bruce Dear (London), and Clare Whitaker (Cambridge) will be joined by Bethany Bonner, Principal and GC/CAO at Zeller, to discuss the future of the workplace and answer questions such as:

  •     How do we embrace the recent monumental tech changes while retaining the best aspects of pre-COVID operations?
  •     What trends are happening in Europe and Asia as they return to work and re-enter offices ahead of the US?
  •     How can tenants approach flexibility in leases?
  •     Is a "blended office" the best solution?
  •     What role does culture play in your organization and how is that maintained by a physical office space?
SCOTUS Review with The Lawbook

Getting Coverage for Existing Coronavirus Claims & Planning for Future Pandemics

About this Event

Is your company covered for claims arising now during the existence of Coronavirus? Will it be prepared for future pandemics?

Join ACC TN and Three-Star Partner Barnes & Thornburg LLP for a thought-provoking program that will examine various business scenarios to determine the coverage needed now and in the future.

One hour of general credit CLE is available for TN and CA.

Speakers:

David Wood and Joshua Rosenberg from the Los Angeles office of Barnes & Thornburg

Highly recognized in the insurance field, David represents corporate policyholders in pre-litigation and litigation matters throughout the country involving directors’ and officers’ liability, professional liability and errors and omissions liability insurance, crime coverage, commercial general liability coverage, property and business interruption insurance, and rights of additional insureds. David regularly works on high-stakes claims in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, technology, media and entertainment, construction and design, real estate, and many more.

The senior vice president of claims for a major insurance company once called David an “insurance company assassin.” His reputation for aggressive advocacy in negotiations, coupled with his team’s ability to litigate and win against insurance companies in court, underscores for carriers the risks and costs of not resolving a claim informally to his client’s satisfaction.

David is a frequent speaker on insurance topics and is often quoted in national media on significant insurance cases and issues.

A member of the firm’s Litigation Department and the Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice group, Joshua represents policyholders by helping them maximize their insurance assets through informal negotiations with and litigation against insurance companies.

Joshua has assisted corporate and public entities in insurance recovery matters involving general liability, directors and officers liability, and errors and omissions liability insurance. Moreover, Joshua has handled a wide variety of litigated and non-litigated matters for clients in the technology, healthcare, and construction industries. Notably, Joshua is also involved in business litigation for corporate clients.

During law school, Joshua served as a summer clerk for the Honorable Dana M. Sabraw of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
