Thinking About Pro Bono Work but Unsure Where to Start?

Have you wanted to volunteer your legal skills but felt uncertain about how and if they apply to a particular clinic? Concerned about time commitment, logistics, or insurance?

Join the ACC NCR Pro Bono Committee for an informational session with Ayuda, where we’ll break down what it really takes to get involvedand how your in-house legal experience can make a meaningful impact.

Ayuda provides critical legal, social, and language services to low-income immigrants in our communities. Their pro bono program harnesses the talents of volunteer attorneys like you, supported every step of the way by Ayuda’s expert immigration attorneys and staff.

In this session, you’ll learn:

  •  How your legal skills can be translated to support Ayuda’s clients

  •  What to expect when volunteering

  •  How logistics, mentorship, and malpractice insurance are handled

Come with your questions. Leave with a clear path to making a difference.

Cross-border regulations, culture, and access issues can impede corporate investigations, creating barriers to uncovering facts. Identifying relationships between players, events, and timelines enhances investigation outcomes and resource allocation.

During the panel discussion, we will explore best practices from speakers, highlighting the diverse perspectives of both in-house counsel and law firms.

While AI accelerates investigations, it does not replace expertise. This event will provide attendees with insights and explore AI and other technology for investigations, addressing anxieties and opportunities, and how private AI models are being used in this space.

18:15 - 19:15  Panel Discussion - Investigations perspective discussion
