We all make money decisions every day, but without understanding your own financial priorities, it’s easy for today’s demands to impact tomorrow’s future goals.
This is often coupled with the fact that many find making financial decisions quite challenging, especially as you start understanding your priorities. It can be hard to gain claty - from simply being overwhelmed, or like you lack the ‘required’ knowledge to make considered decisions. While most decisions don’t drastically impact your future, some can drive you towards or away from your bigger financial objectives. But once you start to unpack these goals into smaller components, it starts getting easier.
In this session, participants will learn the importance of creating an emergency fund and the different types of insurance (health, life, disability) that are crucial for safeguarding your financial future. Many of you also deal with the nuances of intergenerational family responsibilities or have dual nationalities and need to understand how to maximise the value of international finances, investments, and estates. We’ll cover this in detail during the session.
The workshop will also provide practical steps for critically assessing your own current financial needs and end with setting up a robust personal savings strategy.
