Please join us for an informative webinar on the latest legal changes impacting Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity (IE&D) in the workplace.  With the new administration issuing executive orders aimed at eliminating IE&D initiatives and policies in the workplace – and punishing employers who promote such policies – it is essential for employers to stay informed and compliant in the rapidly changing landscape. This session will provide:

  • A comprehensive overview of recent executive orders affecting workplace IE&D policies;
  • Key changes in enforcement priorities related to IE&D initiatives;
  • Legal considerations and best practices for employers implementing or adjusting IE&D programs.

This webinar will give you the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the shifting legal and political environment surrounding workplace IE&D.

Littler attorneys, Asha Santos and Ellen Lemire, will be joined by Larry Weiss, ACC Northeast Board Member, and Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary of Angiodynamics, who will offer you the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the shifting legal and political environment surrounding workplace IE&D.

The ACC NCR Community Service Committee invites you to join your ACC NCR colleagues to sort and pack donated food items at the Capital Area Food Bank's warehouse.

This activity is our official kick-off to participating in Food From The Bar, the legal community’s annual response to hunger in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan region.  Food From The Bar supports the Capital Area Food Bank, which assists 1.5 million DMV residents who experience food insecurity each year.  With significant government layoffs this year, the Capital Area Food Bank anticipates a much greater need as more people will be affected by food insecurity.

Capital Area Food Bank's warehouse has plenty of parking available and lockers to lock up your belongings.  The location is between the Fort Totten (Green & Red lines) and the Brookland (Red) metro stations (about a 10–15-minute walk from each station).

Colleagues, friends, and family members over 12 years old are welcome to volunteer (please register each person).
