You are cordially invited to an exclusive General Counsel/Chief Legal Officer Dinner hosted by Mintz at Eva Mediterranean Restaurant in Boston.

As businesses navigate an increasingly volatile and complex regulatory and legal landscape, the collaboration between corporate General Counsel and their trusted law firm partners has never been more critical. This exclusive event brings together top legal executives—General Counsel and Chief Legal Officers – to examine the evolving challenges and uncover collaborative strategies that drive success for both companies and the firms that support them.

Together, we will address challenges that are reshaping corporate legal functions and the essential role that senior legal department leaders play in making sense of rapidly evolving changes in times of change and ambiguity, proactively anticipating and meeting client needs.

Discussions will explore:

  • Navigating Federal Agency Engagement: How in-house counsel and outside firms can work together to manage engagement with agencies undergoing disruption, mitigate risks related to federal contracting and DEI certification requirements, and develop effective response strategies when agencies reach out;
  • Tariffs and Global Business Operations: Examining the impact of tariffs on multinational corporations and how General Counsel, legal departments and law firms can guide corporate clients through shifting global trade policies while balancing governmental relations in an unpredictable economic landscape;
  • Immigration & Talent Retention: From immigration raid policies to securing specialized international talent via L-1B and H-1B visas, how are General Counsel navigating these changes to protect and retain the best professionals, ensuring long-term workforce stability;
  • New Paradigm in International Business Travel: Safeguarding executives and employees against emerging risks—law firms and in-house legal teams must work in tandem to craft policies addressing C-suite travel restrictions, data protection, and the growing influence of social media in global mobility;
  • The AI Revolution in Legal: As AI transforms legal operations, how are corporate legal teams and law firms leveraging this technology? How are legal teams managing the risks that AI adoption presents across their companies? Gain insights into emerging policies, practical applications, and how AI is reshaping the future of legal strategy.

This ACC Northeast event promises an evening of engaging discussions and networking opportunities amongst esteemed legal professionals.  This intimate dinner format presents a unique opportunity to exchange insights and strategies with fellow General Counsels and Chief Legal Officers facing similar challenges.
