Join ACC St. Louis and Ogletree Deakins for CLE on Tuesday, June 4th!

By this point, in-house lawyers are well-aware that the issue of marijuana in the workplace can be a multistate compliance nightmare.  In addition, Missouri lawyers have been dealing with the November 2022 Passage of the "Missouri Amendment 3", an incredibly difficult change in Missouri law as it relates to marijuana legalization and protections for medical marijuana cardholders in Missouri.

And an increasing number of employers have chosen to simply stop testing for marijuana altogether—but it is important for companies to realize that waving the white flag is not the only option.

In this session, the speakers will explore practical solutions for employers on topics like strategically setting up a drug testing program, preventing and defending legal claims, and creating a playbook for supporting human resources, health and safety professionals, and operational supervisors.

Attendees will leave this session not only with a greater understanding of the legal issues, but also armed with tools to provide strategic support for their business vision and needs.
