ACC Research Triangle AreaThis is our Chapter's fifth, all-day Biennial Institute. We’re presenting in-house topical material on important issues including a 2-hour ethics presentation and 1-hour substance abuse session all presented by expert in-house speakers, moderated by our sponsor law firms. We're hoping this program proves to be the highlight of the year for CLE providing over 1/2 of the year's requirement for CLE. This LARP (Live Action Role Playing) session will incorporate virtual interactivity and will allow attendees to act out real-life HR scenarios remotely. Attendees will be able to assume the role and viewpoint of an HR professional, employee, or others as you walk through case examples related to employment issues our panelists are handling daily.
Each case example will then be discussed in an open forum to provide insight into how to navigate the current, complex employment environment.

This ethics session will explore the issues involved when a lawyer is negotiating to sell his/her own company and whose employment may or may not survive the transaction.
