ACC NortheastPlease join ACC Northeast for this unique series focused on negotiation strategy for in-house lawyers. We have partnered with three regional law firms, Bernstein Shur, Verrill, and Pierce Atwood, to develop the first three sessions. Each of these sessions will provide a “deep dive” into an important aspect of negotiations. This series is free to all in-house counsel.
Part I: Collaborating & Preparing for the Negotiations
(PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS NOW TAKING PLACE VIRTUALLY, AND AT A NEW TIME.)
Attorneys from Bernstein Shur, Kevan Lee Deckelmann and Kat Joyce, will be joined by Kelly Whetstone, Deputy General Counsel at Foreside Financial Group, as they discuss the collaborative process between in-house and external counsel in preparing for a critical negotiation in various contexts, including M&A, regulatory applicability and/or approvals and mission critical contracts.

- How to gain critical insights to aid in negotiations;
- Identifying Strength & Weakness in negotiation positions;
- Leveraging past experiences in dealing with other side.
Come prepared with your questions and examples. This session will be 90 minutes and offer 1.5 General CLE Maine credits. All registrants will receive the Zoom address 24 hours in advance of session.
