The ACC Hong Kong Board of Directors invites you to the following presentation, hosted by KorumLegal.

As the future becomes increasingly unpredictable, it's becoming harder for businesses to make short-term and long-term strategic decisions. There is one thing that could help - data and metrics! Data is known to be the new oil of the digital era and is becoming a priority for many legal teams.

COVID has pushed many of us to look at much-needed changes in our organisations and legal teams, and enabling a more data-driven culture through the use of metrics is high on the priority list. In this session, we will discuss with our esteemed panel of legal leaders their insights on data as well as their journey on driving a culture where data is at the centre of decision-making.  Key themes will include:

  • How do you start on enabling a data-driven culture in legal teams?
  • What are some of the key kind of data metrics to look at?
  • What are some useful tools and technologies for measuring data?
  • What impact has this had on the operating model of your legal team?

This will be an important session for those legal leaders who want to take their legal teams into the new digital era.  Be sure to join this important conversation!

The ACC HK Financial Services group’s next lunch circle will be held as virtual Zoom “lunch” meeting on Tuesday,10 November 2020 from 12:30 - 2:00 pm.

Like last time, the agenda will consist of crowd-sourced discussion topics submitted by confirmed attendees so that we can share ideas and input with each other.

There are several topics that the Financial Services Subcommittee Co-Chairs propose for this November lunch, including: APAC geopolitical issues and potential impacts on businesses, and continuing Covid-19 impact and experiences including remote working, leave policies, employee engagement tracking best practices (topics which may well dominate the lunch), but we are also looking for each attendee to propose a topic to discuss.

We encourage those who have not attended an ACC HK Financial Services group event (or those who have been away for a while) to join us and participate. The event headcount will typically be capped to give everyone time to discuss their topics.

The details of everything we discuss at the lunch is strictly confidential and subject to Chatham House rules, which will allow our discussion to be fulsome and candid (and as a result, helpful and productive) – our goal is to maximize the input from a broad cross section of firms across various financial services industries in a discreet and confidential setting in order to make the lunch informative and valuable.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday,10 November 2020.
