With non-competes in the news last year with the FTC’s proposed, enacted, but ultimately unsuccessful attempt to ban them, it is time to a refresher on where things currently stand on a nationwide basis in the non-compete spectrum. Gone are the days where a one-sized-fits-all-single-state non-compete program works for companies, and with ever changing laws as it relates to non-competes, companies need to be keeping abreast of the law on a nearly 50-state basis, or potentially face penalties and lost business. This presentation explores the current state of non-competes, where the law was, and where it is now going, with a special emphasis on crafting policies that can quickly be revised to deal with this ever-changing field.

After the seminar, you’re invited to a networking reception at City Works, just steps away—offering great food, drinks, and lively conversation.

Then, the celebration continues as we head to Picklesburgh—Pittsburgh’s most unique summer festival—where pickles take center stage in all their briny glory.
