The COVID-19 pandemic has put many business practices to the test, especially in the area of recruitment and hiring. Instead of the traditional face-to-face interactions, interviewing, negotiating terms of employment (including compensation) and onboarding are all happening remotely. This panel, led by Robert Half Legal, will focus on the new normal and how it is impacting in-house counsel as well as on best practices--from both the perspective of candidates and employers--to make hiring and onboarding a seamless process.
The discussion also will include observations regarding the impact of COVID-19 on current compensation and employment trends/forecasts for in-house lawyers.

The legalization of medical and recreational marijuana at the state and local level has created complex employment law issues.
