ACC National Capital RegionThe legalization of medical and recreational marijuana at the state and local level has created complex employment law issues. Employers are faced with competing and sometimes conflicting compliance requirements, including laws that constrain their drug testing programs, OSHA requirements for a safe workplace, and disability laws, as medical marijuana usage at work may be a reasonable accommodation. Panelists will provide an update on these laws and more, as well as practical tips for compliance.
