Post-Pandemic Remote Work: A Productivity Boom or a Collaboration Destroyer? The Advantages and Pitfalls of Remote, Hybrid, and In-Person Models

In this interactive discussion, we will examine whether the conventional wisdom – that employees are more productive but less collaborative when working remotely – has proven to be true. Join attorneys from Littler’s South Carolina office to engage in a meaningful conversation regarding trends in post-pandemic workforces, and both the advantages and pitfalls of remote, hybrid, and in-person models. As companies continue to implement strategies for transitioning back to in-person work environments, we will explore the legal challenges that can arise, and how to effectively keep your workforce engaged and productive.

What it is
A RoundTable is a casual forum for ACC NEO members to collaborate with each other regarding typical in-house concerns—with a dash of perspective from outside counsel.

Topics
Employers continue to navigate a complex maze of leave and accommodation obligations, some of which have been tested— and heightened—during the COVID-19 pandemic. This session will explore some of the most common challenges employers are facing as the boundaries continue to be pushed on the topics of employee leaves of absence under the FMLA and workplace accommodations under the ADA.

Free, open only to ACC NEO members and invited guests.
