In an era where cyber threats are evolving at an unprecedented pace, staying informed about the latest trends and compliance measures is crucial for safeguarding your organization. This program will provide an overview of the current cyber-security cybersecurity landscape, focusing on the most pressing threats, the latest compliance requirements, and emerging enforcement trends.

Business crises can manifest in many forms – financial, personnel, organizational, technological – and can dramatically disrupt daily operations, compromise reputation, and affect the future of your company.  Even the best-managed businesses may be hit and having a crisis management plan in place before crises occur can mitigate the effects of a negative event and ensure you stay in compliance with internal policies and regulations. In addition, these crises can create legal jeopardy – for example, how can you defend yourself without making admissions that could hurt you in future litigation (e.g., Rule 1.6 - Confidentiality of Information).

Join us for a Crisis Management Intensive that will provide an in-depth review of best practices for managing crises that will help minimize legal risk and explore how best to comply with the Virginia Rules of Professional Responsibility and Model Rules of Professional Conduct.  We will discuss effective communication strategies and provide practical advice for developing a comprehensive crisis response plan while also maintaining confidentiality and duties to third parties (e.g., Rule 5.3 Responsibilities Regarding Nonlawyer Assistants).

Presented by Paul Fishman and Amy Jeffress, Partners at Arnold & Porter, Derede McAlpin, Principal, Mitchell + Minter, along with Anjali Chaturvedi, VP & Associate General Counsel at BAE Systems, Inc.

Event Agenda:
