Join us as we celebrate the Corporate Scholars Class of 2026 at our annual reception in DC, also known as the ACC NCR unofficial launch of summer!

Over the past two decades, ACC NCR has placed 230 local law students in paid internships at more than 80 host legal departments.

We plan to be on the rooftop for the evening unless the weather does not cooperate.  It is a great opportunity to network and invest in the next generation of in-house attorneys.

ACC NCR is seeking volunteers to participate in our annual Street Law Programs at Potomac High School (in partnership with the ACC Foundation).

Volunteers are needed for:

  • Classroom visits at Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Students will be informed of the specific topics to be covered during each class session, providing them with a clear understanding of the subject matter and learning objectives for the program:
    • March 19,  9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
    • March 26, 7:45 AM – 8:55 AM
  • Capstone celebration at ACC Global's headquarters in DC.  Spend your morning with the students, teaching them additional legal concepts and sharing your experiences as an in-house attorney:
    • April 15, 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM

We hope to see you there!

Join GrayRobinson Shareholders Grace Yang, Trevor Arnold, and Deborah La Fleur for a practical overview of key legal considerations impacting hospitality operations and workplace events. This program will cover regulatory due diligence, ongoing compliance obligations, recent updates under Florida's Live Local Act, and the legal and employment risks associated with providing alcohol in the workplace. This interactive discussion will highlight common pitfalls and best practices for in-house counsel.

Join the ACC CWNY for our next Dinner Club on March 19 in Buffalo at Glen Park Tavern.

This informal evening is a great opportunity to connect with peers over good food and great conversation. There is no formal agenda or set topic—just space to build relationships and exchange ideas.

Drinks and appetizers will be generously covered by our sponsor and the chapter. Attorneys from Bond Schoeneck will be present to engage in meaningful discussions and are eager to address legal topics or areas of interest you wish to explore.

We hope you will join us for a relaxed and engaging evening.

For most of the first year of the second Trump Administration, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) was limited in its ability to move forward on significant initiatives by its lack of a quorum.  Now, with a quorum restored, the agency has signaled its intention to move forward on a number of the Administration’s priorities and has already begun to do so. In this session, we will explore actions the agency has already taken this year, and more important, what we expect to see in the months and years to come, including:

  • A continued focus on the elimination of “illegal” Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies
  • EEOC’s approach to LGBTQ+ issues
  • The rights of religious employees in the workplace
  • Pregnancy discrimination and harassment
  • Systemic Litigation
  • EEO reporting

Do not miss this in-depth analysis of what to expect from EEOC, and what you should be doing now to best prepare your organization for aggressive enforcement and new directions from the agency.

Presented by Yvette Gatling, Shareholder & Co-Chair, Healthcare Industry Group at Littler and James Paretti, Jr., Shareholder & Co-Chair, Workplace Policy Institute at Littler, along with Gabe Walker, Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment at Meta.
