Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC National Capital RegionFor most of the first year of the second Trump Administration, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) was limited in its ability to move forward on significant initiatives by its lack of a quorum. Now, with a quorum restored, the agency has signaled its intention to move forward on a number of the Administration’s priorities and has already begun to do so. In this session, we will explore actions the agency has already taken this year, and more important, what we expect to see in the months and years to come, including:
- A continued focus on the elimination of “illegal” Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies
- EEOC’s approach to LGBTQ+ issues
- The rights of religious employees in the workplace
- Pregnancy discrimination and harassment
- Systemic Litigation
- EEO reporting
Do not miss this in-depth analysis of what to expect from EEOC, and what you should be doing now to best prepare your organization for aggressive enforcement and new directions from the agency.
Presented by Yvette Gatling, Shareholder & Co-Chair, Healthcare Industry Group at Littler and James Paretti, Jr., Shareholder & Co-Chair, Workplace Policy Institute at Littler, along with an in-house panelist.
