Change may be the constant, but some changes are more chaotic than others. Whether because of market disruption caused by the explosion of AI-containing tools, rapid swings in the legal landscape swept in by a new administration, or lawyers and judges finding themselves in the “cross-hairs,” lawyers may be called on to navigate not just changing times but chaos itself. This two-hour ethics CLE focuses on the Virginia professional rules that provide lawyers the ethical compass to navigate chaos connected to:
The use of artificial intelligence tools in the legal profession;
Advising clients on laws for which the executive branch has stated a position of “non-enforcement” of laws that remain “on the books;” and
Lawyers and Judges in the cross-hairs.
Presented by Kelly Faglioni, Partner at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP and Caryn Frick, Director, Assistant General Counsel, Capital One.
This program is presented in person in Richmond, VA.
We have applied for 2.0 hours of VIRGINIA BAR MCLE ETHICS CREDIT for this event.

Todd Jones and former Assistant U.S. Attorney Bahram Samie, will provide historical background of the FCA, describe the role of whistleblowers, and offer insight into evolving enforcement priorities and their implications for businesses and institutions across industries. Attendees will also gain practical guidance on mitigating risk in this shifting enforcement landscape.
