ACC Western PennsylvaniaJoin us for an interactive presentation and discussion with a team of M&A and transactional disputes lawyers from K&L Gates LLP on navigating certain components of a transaction and how they can resurface during post-transaction disputes. Topics to be addressed will include how choice of law and venue can impact availability of claims and timeline for the same; potential discoverability of due diligence and other transaction-related communications; unintentional waivers of privilege; enforceability of non-compete covenants included in the transaction; and any others you would like to submit during the registration process. The session is designed to foster candid dialogue and sharing of practical tips and best practices for maximizing strategic outcomes and avoiding pitfalls in the M&A, commercial contracting, and disputes areas.
