When exiting leases, landlords often claim damage, withhold the security deposit, and make claims. This session, designed for small legal departments that lease multiple properties, will provide a toolkit for in-house counsel to minimize risk and better defend against landlord claims. Discuss must-dos upon entering into a lease, everyday management of the leased property relationship, what to discuss internally during renewals, and necessary steps and strategy when exiting a lease.

In this session, attendees will hear briefly from the panel and discuss certain contract provisions in purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing agreements.
