Overview (Program Summary)
Lawyers and legal departments in the corporate realm are often perceived as a source of negativity, wrought with constant refusals that bring creative flow to a screeching halt. As legal counsel, identifying and assessing our clients’ liabilities is vital to our profession, but this advice can lead to tension. So, how can in-house counsel navigate being a “department of yes” without compromising risk management? In this session, panelists will explore strategies for overcoming stereotypes assigned to lawyers, fostering meaningful relationships with internal clients, and devising creative approaches to achieve client goals.
Presented in cooperation with the International Society of Primerus Law Firms
