Sticky Situations: Handling Sensitive Employment Challenges in a Pandemic, Sponsored by Littler Mendelson

Since the pandemic began, employers are facing more challenges than ever, including navigating public health ordinances, sanitation requirements, economic downturn, and personal challenges. As more employees get involved in movements for social justice and tune in to divisive political campaigns, and as most states mandate mask-wearing, employers can add new challenges to their plate: personal expression, objections to masks, and the risk for violence and social clashes in the workplace. In this era, an employer's approach to these circumstances can be met with widespread public criticism.
