ACC Austin2021 has been a tremendously challenging period for companies navigating the multitude of uncertain events that have affected the workplace. At the forefront are questions regarding employment implication of Covid and what lies ahead. This program will provide legal and practical tools to answer some of today's most pressing issues.
We will discuss:
Pandemic-related employment issues including hiring and onboarding issues and increased requests for work-from-home accommodations, as well as the positives and negatives of workplace culture changes and new customs.
Diversity and Inclusion issues that companies are encountering, including pandemic bias, productivity challenges and employee burnout, racial and civil unrest, and related tensions at work.
A preview of employment law and related issues that are on the horizon as we continue through the pandemic and beyond, including legal and practical issues related to vaccine mandates, return to work policies and best practices, and challenges for parents and caretakers.
