Speakers

Mariesa Carbone, CPA, CA, ABCP, CRMA, is a Partner in MNP’s Edmonton office where she leads the Enterprise Risk Services Group across the country. Mariesa is sought after in Canada and abroad for her expertise in internal audit and enterprise risk management and works with clients across a range of industries, including public sector, gaming, forestry, post-secondary education, oil and gas and the energy sector.

Vandna Agrawal, CPA CGA, is Director, Enterprise Risk Management at Stantec.

Vandna is responsible for the creation and deployment of an ERM practice/framework and managing the corporation’s global enterprise risk management (ERM) program. This includes monitoring and recommending mitigation activities for existing and emerging global operational and legal/regulatory risks, assessing, and where appropriate, periodically recommending modifications/updates to principal risks.

Bonnie Andriachuk, LLB, ICD.D, is the city solicitor for the City of Edmonton, managing the legal, risk management and corporate security functions. Prior to this role, she held a variety of senior legal and business roles mainly relating to oil, gas and electricity industries in North America.
