Veta T. Richardson is the President & CEO at Association of Corporate Counsel, a nonprofit professional association focused on the corporate legal and compliance sector, and ACC spans +80 countries and 60 chapter affiliates serving +45,000 members. She is responsible for P&L, strategy, and a global workforce of employees in Europe, Australia, Asia and America. She serves on the Strategic Advisory Board of Ethisphere, Inc., a for-profit corporation that advances business integrity, compliance, and ethics as a strategic advantage and annually selects The World’s Most Ethical Companies. Veta is a respected voice in the area of corporate governance, holds the Certified Directorship Credential of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and sits on the board of the Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance. Before ACC, she was chief executive at a smaller nonprofit association advising hundreds of top-tier executives on diversity/equity/ inclusion strategies and she contributed as an advisor on DEI topics with three U.S. Presidential Administrations (Clinton, Bush, Obama). Veta is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center where she has annually co-taught the course, In-House Counsel: Law and Practice.
