Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC ChicagoThe world in 2020 has introduced new challenges and exposed and aggravated existing ones. Between a pandemic, slowing economy, civil unrest, and increased racial tension, diverse attorneys face unprecedented challenges personally and professionally. As members of the legal community, we have a role in working to connect with and support diverse attorneys, and to find new ways to address common issues of equality, the imposter syndrome, and mental health.
Remote work and other challenges have fueled fundamental shifts and innovations in how we work, how we think, and how we address hardships. The silver lining in 2020 is that we are learning to embrace constraints and think differently. This panel event aims to foster collaboration between client-service professionals outside of the legal profession and wellness advocates.
This session aims to identify and provide tools for addressing challenges diverse attorneys face, including wellness challenges, and the panel will include a non-attorney professional to offer his perspectives from outside the practice of law.
