Karine Garceau

Karine holds a trilingual Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from HEC Montreal and is a member of the Quebec Bar. She is a Commercial Manager at Google, where she is instrumental in the implementation of commercial agreements related to Google Cloud services. Prior to joining Google, Karine led the commercial law team of one of the largest public transit companies in Quebec; worked for an international law firm as a legal project manager; and served for several years as legal counsel to an international mining company supporting various business units located in Australia, Singapore and North America.

She decided to join the CCA Quebec Board of Directors in 2018 in order to develop her network of contacts, to improve not only the training offer adapted to in-house counsel, but also the visibility of the chapter throughout Quebec.

 

Laurie-Ann Willett

Laurie-Ann holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Certificate in Human Resources from Saint Mary's University (Halifax), and a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) and a Bachelor of Common Law (LL.B) from McGill University (Montreal). She began her commercial law practice in Montreal (mergers and acquisitions) at Stikeman Elliott. Currently, she is the Chief Legal Officer at Chanel Canada.

Resourceful, she is a definite asset to CCA Quebec and its members!

 

Sandrine Habra

Sandrine holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Sherbrooke and a Master's degree in International Commercial Law. She currently works as a legal advisor for ABB, where she applies her many skills in negotiation, problem solving, drafting and reviewing legal documents.

 

Stéphanie Beaupré-Camirand

After completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Sherbrooke in 2010, she has developed a rich and diversified career path in business. She is currently working as a legal advisor at BFL Canada and has started a Mini-MBA at McGill Executive Institute in September 2021.

 

Rime El Rhoul

Rime holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Montreal and a Certificate in Contract Law from Harvard Law School. She is also a member of the Quebec Bar.

She currently holds the position of Legal Counsel and Corporate Affairs at Pelican International and focuses her practice on Corporate and Commercial Law, Intellectual Property and Corporate Governance. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association, Quebec Chapter.

Rime also served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice from 2016 to 2018 and co-founded the CELO Legal Information Clinic in 2016.

 

Carole-Anne Emond

Carole-Anne Emond is legal counsel for the GardaWorld Group. She is in charge of civil and commercial litigation as well as the review, drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts for the Canadian entities of GardaWorld. She is also called upon to advise the company for purposes of litigation prevention, legal training and business advice.

She is a member of the Quebec Bar and also holds a Juris Doctor.

Prior to joining the firm, she practiced with a boutique litigation firm, particularly in the areas of class action, shareholder disputes and competition law.

She is involved with the Young Bar Association of Montreal and Éducaloi. Carole-Anne is very resourceful and a great asset to CCA Quebec and its members!
