    Registration fees for the ACC Legal Ops Con include sessions and written materials. CLE/CPD credit not offered.

    • All deadlines occur on set date at 11:59 PM Eastern time. All Legal Ops Con rates are in US Dollars.
    • *Nonmember rate includes one year of ACC membership (US$435; membership eligibility rules apply). ACC membership and meeting registration will be confirmed pending approval of eligibility.
    • ACC Legal Operations Membership Eligibility:
      Membership is for professionals dedicated to managing operations for corporate law departments (i.e. in the office of the general counsel) on a full-time basis. Being a lawyer is not a requirement to join. 

      Examples of corporate legal job categories that are not eligible include: contract administrators/managers, paralegals, law clerks, and administrative assistants/legal secretaries/office managers. Questions about eligibility should be addressed to lawdepartmentops@acc.com



      Vendors to corporate legal departments, including consultants and law firm personnel, are not eligible to join. However, we do welcome vendor and law firm support through sponsorship.     • **Day pass registrants MUST be eligible for ACC membership. Day pass does NOT include a year's worth of ACC membership. Limit one day pass per registrant.
    • Purchase of the Legal Operations Bootcamp registration add-on is nonrefundable.
    • Discounts are not retroactive, cannot be combined, are not transferable, and are only eligible for use on new full registrations.

    ACC Registration Policies

    In the process of registering for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) 2025 Legal Ops Con, you have agreed to all policies and procedures of this event without exception. These policies include code of conduct, image release, refund policies, etc. These can be referred to here.

    Add on the Legal Ops Bootcamp*

    During the registration process, you will have the chance to add on the Legal Operations Bootcamp for only $175. Don't miss out on this opportunity to dive deep into and collaboratively work through problems that are unique to legal operations professionals.

    *The add-on option is only available with purchase of a full registration.

     

    Group Registrations

    Any company registering two or more attendees will receive a discount of US$50 off each registration.

    When registering online, please indicate you will be registering a group. Group registrations must be submitted at the same time to receive the discount. Payment for a minimum of two registrations must be received at one time in order to qualify for the group rate. If you already have a group registration for your organization and would like to add additional registrants, please email education@acc.com and we can assist you.

    If paying for your group via check or wire transfer, or if you need additional support with group registrations, please email education@acc.com and we will assist in registering your group.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Group discount cannot be combined with other offers or discounts and is only applicable to full registrations. Offer excludes day pass registrations. No retroactive group rates will be given.

     

    Confirmation

    Registrations are not considered confirmed until payment is processed. Please do not consider your registration complete until you have received the confirmation email.

    If you are an ACC member or Legal Operations Section member, after registering for Legal Ops Con, you will receive a registration confirmation email. If you don’t see an email from ACC Education, please first check your spam/junk mail folder. Then please request a re-send of your confirmation email. If you still didn’t receive it, please contact us.

    If you are a nonmember, after registering for Legal Ops Con, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your registration, followed by a registration confirmation email after your eligibility has been approved. Please allow 24-48 hours after submission for eligibility approval.

     

    Hotel

    ACC is holding a block of rooms at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, 540 Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60611 at US$269 single/double per night plus tax.

    1. You MUST be a confirmed attendee of the 2025 Legal Ops Con in order to make your reservation at the host hotel and receive the ACC negotiated rate.
    2. ONLY by using the link provided via your Registration Statement can you book within the ACC block and receive the ACC negotiated rate. The hotel room block is available until Monday, March 17, 2025 at 5:00 PM Central Time and as long as rooms are still available.
      • Reservations made after March 17, 2025, or once the block is filled, will be based on hotel availability and at prevailing hotel rates.

    Additionally:

    • ACC does not use a housing bureau or third-party agency for hotel accommodations or any other travel arrangements. Any claims by any company stating otherwise are not true.
    • ACC cannot make, change or cancel hotel reservations. If you need to make any changes to your reservation, please contact the hotel directly.
     

    Cancellation Policy

    Registration cancellations must be received in writing via education@acc.com. Registrations cannot be cancelled over the telephone.

    Cancellations for registrations processed at the nonmember rate will not be refunded the US$435 membership fee included with the registration. The US$435 membership fee is not refundable or transferable.

    Registration cancellations will adhere to the cancellation policy dates below, no exceptions.

    Written cancellation received: Credit/Refund due:
    March 10, 2025 Full refund of monies paid, minus $175 administrative fee. All refunds processed are net 30-days.
    March 11 through March 25, 2025 No refunds. 100% credit of monies paid applied to future ACC HQ in-person education program*
    March 26 through April 3, 2025 No refunds. 50% credit of monies paid applied to future ACC HQ in-person education program*
    April 4, 2025 and after No refunds, no credits.

    *Credit issued may be used towards the following ACC in-person educational programs: 2026 Legal Ops Con, 2025 Chief Legal Officer Global Summit (eligibility requirements apply), 2025 Corporate Counsel University, 2025 Securities & Disclosures Law Seminar, 2025 Executive Leadership Institute (eligibility requirements apply), 2025 Annual Meeting. Credit may not be used towards any other educational programs not included above. Credit may not be divided among programs and any remaining funds following credit application will be forfeited. Credit cannot be carried over to the following year. Credit may not be used towards ACC membership dues. Credit may be transferred to an eligible attendee from the same organization, but written notification of transfer (via education@acc.com

    ) must be received from the original purchaser in order for the credit to be valid. Credit will expire April 30, 2026.

     

    Attendee Substitutions

    Substitute attendees (from the same organization and eligible to attend) are always welcome. Please email your request to education@acc.com.

     

    Financial Hardship Policy

    ACC offers a limited number of full and partial discounts to Legal Ops Con. Preference is given to ACC members who have already incurred the expense of membership dues. Application for hardship and granting of a hardship discount is limited to individuals who meet the criteria for program registration or attendance.

    All requests for full and partial discounts will be kept confidential and all such determinations will be made on a case-by-case basis. Applicant should fill out this web form explaining the need for financial assistance and how attending this program will be helpful.

    The deadline to submit an application for the 2025 Legal Ops Con is March 19, 2025.

     

    Spouse/Guest Registration Policy

    A guest is defined as a spouse or significant other, friend, or relative who is not a member of ACC, is not qualified to become a member, and does not work in an industry-related occupation. Guests must be 21+ years old.

    If you want to bring a guest, please provide their name where indicated on your meeting registration. Guests must check in at the registration desk onsite and will be issued a guest badge, which will allow access to the evening receptions ONLY. Guests may not attend any educational programs or other meal functions, or enter the exhibit area at any other time.

    The registration fee is US$200/guest (limit 1). The guest fee is nonrefundable.

     

    Accommodations

    To request an accommodation, please note your request on the registration form. For questions about accessibility, please contact us at education@acc.com. Requests for accommodations should be submitted as soon as you register, but no later than March 19, 2025, so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

    • Is CLE/CPD credit offered?

      No, CLE/CPD credit is not offered at Legal Ops Con. If you are interested in earning CLE/CPD credit, we recommend you attend the 2025 Corporate Counsel University® (if applicable to your role) or the 2025 Annual Meeting.

    • I have questions about membership eligibility.

    • I cannot attend in person. Is there an option to participate virtually?

      No, there is not a virtual attendance option. 

    • Will sessions be recorded?

      No, sessions will not be recorded. 

    • How do I change the courses I will be attending?
      1. Visit your Registration Statement, click on the red "Options" dropdown at the top right, and choose "Select your sessions."
      2. Check or uncheck the box next to the session(s) you wish to change your attendance of.
      3. Be sure to click "Save My Selections" at the bottom of the page.

    • What is the suggested attire?

      While onsite, most attendees choose to dress business casual. We encourage you to dress comfortably, as we want to encourage an informal environment, in which your attention is centered on your education.

      Please note, meeting rooms are often a bit cool, so dress accordingly.

    • I had originally paid to attend Legal Ops Con but I have been invited to speak on a session. What happens to my registration payment?

      Thank you for speaking! We can credit 100% of your registration payment toward a future ACC event. When you know which event you would like to attend, simply let us know at education@acc.com

      , and we will start your registration and apply the credit.

      No. You MUST be a confirmed attendee of the 2025 Legal Ops Con in order to make your reservation at the host hotel and receive the ACC negotiated rate.

      No. Cancelling your Legal Ops Con registration will NOT automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Please contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation. Your hotel reservation cancellation is subject to the hotel’s cancellation policy.
