IN-PERSON FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND (SATURDAY) EVENT: Fresh Air, Family & Friends Walk in Irvine – Shady Canyon Trail and Lunch at Irvine Grill

Please join us for this fun, family-friendly event organized by the ACC SoCal Well-Being Committee. Family and friends are welcome as we gather for a walk on the beautiful Shady Canyon Trail, followed by a healthy group lunch of heavy shared appetizers at the nearby Irvine Grill.

Where: Shady Canyon Trail & Irvine Grill When: Saturday, June 14 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

The trail is a mix of paved and packed dirt through the beautiful hills overlooking Irvine. We will walk in for approximately half an hour and then back out, for about an hour of light exercise. Perfect for both leisurely and faster walkers. Dogs are welcome! We will meet outside the Quail Hill Community Center, by the flagpole at 39 Shady Canyon Drive – look for an ACC sign. Please bring water, and we will treat you to a healthy group lunch afterwards. Additional details will be sent right before the event.

Meeting Point: In front of Lake Hollywood Reservoir Sign

Event:

Enjoy a leisurely and flat walk around the Lake Hollywood Reservoir. The trail is a 3.5 mile loop. Guaranteed deer sightings and other opportunities to connect with nature and community members alike!

What to Expect:

· Start with a snack: We’ll have light refreshments available before we set off.

· A sublime experience: Our walk will be an easy, enjoyable pace in a natural setting, suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Don’t Forget:

· Prior to the walk, I will be standing in front of the Lake Hollywood Reservoir Sign holding a hand-drawn ACC sign.

Bring your family, friends, and fellow ACC members. Unfortunately, non-service dogs are not allowed on the trail. Additional details will be sent immediately before the event.
