Marketing and Privacy Law: 2024 Year-End Review and Trends Shaping 2025

Join us for a review of the major government contracts developments from 2024.  We will discuss the major regulatory developments of the past year, including the DoD CMMC rules, new labor and employment requirements, SBA size certification developments, and secure supply chain obligations.  We will also review the key cases from 2024, including bid protests, disputes, and False Claims Act developments.  Finally, acknowledging an uncertain 2025, we will identify areas of government contracts law and regulation that could change under the new administration.

"Increasing and Sustaining Morale," delves into the critical relationship between morale, productivity, and workplace dynamics. It explores:

• Defining Productivity: Highlights productivity as the rate of output and a measure of efficiency, linking it with morale's psychological state.

• Impact of Morale: Discusses how emotions and inferred environmental meanings influence morale, which can either support or detract from organizational goals.

• SCARF Model: Explains threats to social needs (Status, Certainty, Autonomy, Relatedness, Fairness) as analogous to physical threats, affecting morale and engagement.

• Motivation-Hygiene Theory: Identifies satisfaction factors (achievement, growth) and dissatisfaction factors (policies, relationships, security) impacting workplace morale.

• Influencer Model: Encourages using a multi-pronged approach to analyze and sustain morale by clarifying results, identifying vital behaviors, and integrating strategies.

• Takeaways: Provides frameworks and actionable strategies for fostering positive morale to achieve sustainable productivity and engagement.
