 This CLE will provide an overview of a business’ legal duties both before and after a cyber-attack. We will also discuss the types of cyber-attacks that are currently occurring, including ransomware attacks. And we will discuss things a business should do to try to prevent data breaches as well as what to do if one occurs.

· Summary of nature of current cyber-attacks, including ransomware attacks.

· Duties of directors and officers to put in place policies to secure data and prevent data breaches.

· Relationships you need to establish before a cyber-attack occurs.

· A business’ duties upon data breach.

· Remediation after a cyber-attack.

Please join us for an in-person happy hour at La Sandia, an authentic Mexican restaurant by acclaimed Chef Richard Sandoval.  Join our ACC NCR Café con Leche Affinity Group (Hispanic and Latinx) for an informal gathering to connect and/or reconnect with friends and colleagues.  The tequila bar at La Sandia features 250 varieties and agave-based spirits, as well as handcrafted margaritas, mojitos, sangria, Mexican beers, and more. We will have some appetizers to share and guests will be responsible for purchasing their own drinks.

We will plan to be in the patio area which is outside the restaurant but located in the mall. The area is open and airy and not weather dependent!  All members are welcome.  We hope you can join us!
