Join us as we discuss the White House’s Executive Order on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence, which is far-reaching and mandates 150 action items for various agencies to implement an emerging national policy on AI. The Executive Order covers several important issues with development and use of AI, signals a strong interest in responsible use of AI by the government and U.S. companies, and focuses on the impact of AI on the work force. These issues include safety testing and standards for such tests, content authentication and privacy, cybersecurity and national security, equity and civil rights, consumer and worker protection, advancing US leadership in AI innovation and competition while collaborating with governments worldwide, and promoting the responsible use of AI by the U.S. government.
This program will address the scope of the Executive Order, how it fits with prior U.S. initiatives on AI, and how it impacts government contractors.
