As we start 2023, understand key regulatory developments in the compliance space and the impact they have on corporate compliance departments. The session will feature both in-house and external perspectives and include topics such as:

1.    Update on key regulatory developments and enforcement actions
2.    The impact of the Monaco Memo on Corporate Compliance departments
3.    Practical considerations as organizations continue to evolve their compliance programs to meet regulatory requirements

Between maintaining business continuity and keeping your workforce safe, we know there's been little time to track the rapidly changing employment, compensation and mobility law landscape — in Illinois, across the US, and globally.

This webinar is designed to ensure that Midwest in-house counsel are up to speed on the top developments of 2022 and are prepared for what's on the horizon in 2023.

Join us for a content-rich 90-minute presentation with practical takeaways, covering the latest developments in employment, compensation and mobility, including:
•    Protecting your trade secrets in the US and globally
•    Trends in salary disclosure laws in the US and abroad
•    The NLRB: Where things stand and what to expect in 2023
•    Employment litigation trends for the year ahead
•    Significant new developments affecting equity awards in 2023
•    Equity compensation trends and best practices for public and private companies
•    Post-COVID updates from an immigration and mobility perspective, from international travel to I-9 completion

Close out the ACC MN 2022 programming year on Wednesday, December 14, with a peer discussion about negotiating and some pre-holiday socializing at Common Roots Café in south Minneapolis.

As with all Sounding Board gatherings, previewing the discussion material ahead of time is not necessary to participate. We welcome anyone with interest in this subject and will provide questions during the event to generate discussion in small-group breakouts.

Please join us to assemble 300 “period kits” for The Period Collective (TPC) to distribute. We will have all of the necessary supplies onsite, we just need your hands to help bring it all together. After we assemble these kits, we hope you can stay for a casual networking reception.

TPC is a Chicago-based nonprofit that provides period products to unhoused and low-income individuals throughout the greater-Chicago area. Shelters and food banks very rarely receive donations of period products, and there’s a dire need. The organization's focus is to supply products to shelters, traditional housing facilities, food banks, schools, prisons and other organizations that work with homeless and low-income girls and women.

A representative for TPC will attend to provide information about the organization and its mission.
