Join ACCGP for our Summer Soiree at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center.  The event will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres, open bar, live entertainment and a "flower bar" for attendees to create their own bouquet to bring home.

The Horticulture Center, located in picturesque Fairmount Park, is one of Philadelphia’s most well-loved cultural destinations. Built in 1979 on the site of the former Horticultural Hall, an 1876 Centennial Exposition building, the Horticulture Center has curated a variety of awe-inspiring spaces that serve as the ideal setting to kick off the summer season with your ACCGP colleagues and annual sponsors.

There is no charge to attend.  This event is open to ACCGP members and their partners/spouses, prospective in-house counsel and annual sustaining sponsors only. Attendees may bring a significant other as a guest.

Event Attire:  Business or your summer finest (white, pastels, floral, etc.).  Formal attire is not recommended.

Have you been frustrated when someone misunderstands you? Or been told you need to change your style of speech? Women use different language patterns than men when speaking amongst themselves.

Common business wisdom judges female genderlect as inferior, but that is a judgment through a male genderlect lens that misses opportunities for more effective communication for everyone. Once you understand the differences in how men and women approach their genderlects and how both styles are effective in the right setting, you can become “bilingual”.

We have found that once people understand the differences in communication styles, they can assess quickly why miscommunications are occurring and adapt their styles accordingly.
