During the Annual Meeting on January 25th, the Chapter will:

· Confirm the nominees for the 2024 Board,

· Election of the 2024 Officers and Directors,

· Announce awardees of the 2023 Member of the Year and 2023 Committee of the Year and the William E. Jaudes Award, and

· Meet our 2024 President.

You might have heard the term neurodiversity and perhaps wondered, “What does it really mean?” Neurodiversity has many definitions, but it generally refers to natural differences in the human brain regarding sociability, learning, attention, mood and other mental functions.  Neurodiversity includes conditions such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and Tourette syndrome.

This multidisciplinary and multimedia exhibition examines the resounding impact of hip hop on contemporary art and culture, including its unique contributions to innovations in music, visual and performing arts, fashion, and technology. To illuminate the depth of hip hop’s influence, the exhibition will feature immersive installations, fashion, painting, sculpture, photography, and video, showcasing the complex, expansive, and international allure of one of the 20th and 21st century’s great cultural movements.

This social and networking event will celebrate the upcoming 400-year history of the City of New York with a “Taste of New York.” There will be tasting tables telling the history of New York City with food from the Lenape’s Manhattan (“hilly island”) to Dutch New Amsterdam in 1624 to the cultural contributions of Germans, Italians, Chinese and other nations in delectable food and desserts.
