On July 1, 2024, California SB 478 also known as the “Honest Pricing Law” or “Hidden Fees Statute” went into effect, making it unlawful to list prices without including all mandatory fees. Organizations that do not comply risk government enforcement as well as class action exposure. This webinar’s panel includes California litigators that will cover the basics of the law, how to comply, draw comparisons to similar state regulations, and touch on other risks of marketing and advertising in California.

Check-in on event day begins at 11:00 a.m. Each player will receive $100 credit to purchase merchandise from the pro shop, in addition to a sleeve of balls. There will be a boxed lunch starting at 11 a.m., practice range access, and a putting contest, leading up to the 12:15 p.m. shotgun start. There will be plenty of on course contests and activities! The networking and cocktail reception will begin at 5:30 p.m.

For Wellness Enthusiasts who will not be joining the golf tournament but want to enjoy other activities on the beautiful Monarch Beach property, we will offer a Nature Walk near Salt Creek Beach and a Spa Day at the Waldorf Astoria at Monarch Beach – details to follow soon. Please join the Diversity & Inclusion Bridges Group for an evening hosted by the St. Louis Art Museum (SLAM) for the last evening of the MUNDO art exhibit.

Inspired by the exhibition Art and Imagination in Spanish America, 1500–1800: Highlights from LACMA’s Collection, explore how cultures from all over the world (ormundo) have shared, combined, and influenced each other over time. 

This exhibition features more than 100 works drawn from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s notable collection of Spanish colonial art, which has largely been formed in the last fifteen years. The paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts on view underscore the generative power of Spanish America and its central position as a global crossroads.

There will be evening events including art making, cocktails, music, and performances.
